Surprisingly good conditions at the Kwinana Grain Jetty this evening. A bit of surge, and a very low tide that kept mid jetty maximum depth to less then 6m.

My buddy and I saw 4 seahorses all attached to tubular fan worms. A bobtail squid was alone out on the sand, others saw four together and a Finger Dragonet. A cuttlefish put on a fantastic tentacles-up display and we were inundated with lots of Smoothbox fish of all ages, and the same for Shaws cowfishes.

Overhead in the jetty lights, swam lots of Herring and Hardyheads, with variety on the bottom from Silversides, Butterfish and Bluespotted goatfish but no Octopus or Rays this evening. Amazingly considering the cold, we were first out at 50mins, two first time night divers and buddy did nearly 70 mins, and two others lasted out an amazing 82 minutes! Post dive everyone was buzzing and really happy with the dive. We also had a Bandicoot come out of the bushes right up to us as a bonus.
