PADI RESCUE DIVER COURSE

BE PREPARED & CHALLENGE YOURSELF

Learn to prevent and manage problems in the water, and become more confident in your skills as a diver. It’s challenging, yet very rewarding. Perth Scuba offer 2 day dive courses every fortnight all year round.

The PADI Rescue Diver course prepares you to deal with dive emergencies, minor and major, using a variety of techniques. Through knowledge development and rescue exercises, you learn what to look for and how to respond. During rescue scenarios, you put into practice your knowledge and skills. Topics include; self rescue, recognising and managing stress in other divers, emergency management and equipment, rescuing panicked divers and rescuing unresponsive divers.

Important Health and Safety Information:
Prior to commencing your dive course, you are required to complete the self-assessment Student Diver Medical Declaration. A YES answer to any questions indicates there is a pre-existing condition which may affect your safety while diving and you must consult a medical practitioner, preferably with experience in diving medicine, to obtain a dive medical certificate that states you are medically fit to dive. Your medical must be completed before starting your practical training with Perth Scuba.
