Manta Club dive at Coogee North Wall

Manta Club dive at Coogee (North Wall) – good visibility (in some areas), and plenty of schooling bullseyes

manta club divers at North Coogee wall

This Sunday morning was almost ideal for diving, and close to perfect water conditions were seen at Coogee,  next to the groyne representing the marina’s northern wall.  No waves or any current, and a fair bit of visibility in the water (7-8 meters in some places). Thirteen Manta Club divers  enjoyed the water (it was quite warm today, at above 21C) while being surrounded by large schools of little bullseyes which sometimes were a magnificient view. One large cuttlefish was seen flashing its colours also, and an octopus sighting was reported. Morwongs were numerous, apparently owning these waters today.

Divers of  various different experience levels were present, and everybody enjoyed exploring this dive site. Several new Manta Club divers joined our crew today, and hopefully seen many things of interest in the water. Thanks everyone for coming to this dive! See you on next dives soon.
