Geared up for underwater critters at the RWT
written by Sarah Toohey – Perth Scuba PADI Dive Master
We finally found our night divers on Wednesday 23rd of April! And what a lovely bunch they were. All ready and geared up to what underwater critters would jump out at us on the Rockingham Wreck Trail… or RWT as those in the know call it.
Reports of the visibility on the weekend were quite shocking, so we were stoked to have some great vis as we dropped to our first mark at the MV Target. There is so much life on the RWT these days it’s hard to know where to start! The lionfish were in force fanned out and looking lovely. There were a couple of large but very friendly skipjacks that came in close to the torches for a good look.
Great dive peeps, I look forward to our next night diving adventure!
