Baby sea snake at Rockingham Wreck Trail

written by Simon Kong – Perth Scuba PADI Instructor

We were welcomed on the night of Wednesday 9 July 2014 by nice calm weather. With our only diver tonight, and our eagerness to hit the water, we were in pretty quickly. Water was a bit chilly, but with a dry suit we didn’t even notice it. Viz was quite nice for RWT and the wrecks were full with life. The inside of the wreck was so full with fish of all sizes, that it was insane. They were also quite friendly and wanted to play. The fish kept poking us gently when we were around the wrecks.

On our way out, we saw a baby sea snake, moving along graciously just above the sand. Awesome little things….. What are you waiting for. Join us for our next night dive!!!
