Mosman Park’s Cable dive
Mosman Park’s Cable dive
Sunday 19 May 2019
This Sunday with the nice conditions we decided to try something new and check out a dive site called Cables in Mosman Park. With a nice turn out of 12 divers I made sure everyone knew how to find the site then we made our way down.

At the site the water looked good, just a bit of swell on entry. Once past the swell we dropped down and headed out to the artificial surf reef. Once we found it we followed it around the back finding some banded sweep, buff bream and a school of herring and even a juvenile wobbegone shark.
After going around the back we then headed back over the reef where we spotted the cables that give the site the name. We used them to navigate back to shore checking every sink hole we passed for crays and anything else we could find.
