The concept of teamwork is extremely important to the success of any team. All coaches talk about working as one unit, as a unified team. Teamwork and unselfishness create the backbone of a great team, without them a team cannot realistically compete. You can have a group of superstars, but if they do not work well as one unit, chances are they are not going to be as successful as you would think. The team working as one cohesive unit is going to be the key in their success. As a PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Centre, almost the highest and a most sought after rating within the diving industry Perth Scuba outshines the competition in knowledge, experience and professional standards and have once again proved that as a team all things are possible.

Perth Scuba is a productive dive centre that has divers that share common goals, a common vision and have some level of interdependence. Perth Scuba has come into existence through shared attitudes about a passionate sport. We may have come together for a number of different reasons, but our goals are the same – to achieve peak performance and experience success and have fun in the process. All our dive course goals may differ but the means by which one gets there is the same – teamwork. Every staff member of the team is accountable when it comes to teamwork.

Career opportunities for the PADI professional have never been better, especially in Perth. After a huge increase in diver certifications, recreational diving continues to expand all over the world. Almost anywhere there’s a tropical island, you’ll probably find a dive shop with a PADI Instructor, and this means you can get a job in scuba diving in a lot of cool places…. Click here to read more

THE WATER TV SHOWPatto interviews Alicia Harvey for The Water TV Show

Did you see the Dive Locker Sponsored Diving / Fishing T

V show “The Water”?

We are about to start filming the second series and it’s going to be even better than the first series. With lots more diving in some very cool destinations – the series will be heading over to the Abrolhos Islands, Monebello Islands, Albany, Esperance and heaps more! If you are interested in being in one of the shows – drop us an email to find out where we will be filming. You can even join us on the boat and get your 5 minutes of fame.

The final few shows include a Rottnest Island Diving Special – where the dive crew, dive in Shark Cave, Crystal Palace and Grouper Caves. Lee shows how to catch Crayfish  and how to size them, Joey takes her camera (The Praying Mantis) into Shark Cave on one of those not so great viz days and Patto and Joseph run amuck with the video cameras.

There is also our favourite dive site – the Key Biscayne which is an oil rig sitting in 42 metres of water up in Lancelin. The dive shows what a great dive it is with Grey Nurse Sharks , Dhu Fish, Snapper and Mackerel as well as lots of crayfish – we get to see Lee catch them for the cameras… He can catch them even when he’s Narked… albeit not all that well!

Follow this link to all of the shows. We hope you enjoy watching them as much as we enjoyed making them.
