Perth Scuba club dive at North Coogee
Manta club divers at North Coogee Wall

Last night with Southerly winds we took the club dive to North Coogee Wall. At the site the conditions looked great, dead calm and hardly any wind. With 8 of us keen we got Lee to take a snap then rushed down to the water.

Under the water the viz wasn’t bad, a couple of murky bits but reasonable most the way. While following the wall up we spotted a few old wifes, gobble guts, and a few flat head. As it got a little darker we started to see a few crays coming out of the rocks to say hello, then the odd cobbler.

After 30mins or so we hit our turn around point then headed back up the wall. On the way in we found a baby cuttlefish then a tiny bobtail squid hiding in the shallows. After fifty minutes we headed back in.
