Sunday diving at Grain Terminal Jetty
written by Peter Bagas – Perth Scuba PADI Divemaster
After a week of rain and storms 11 of us met at Perth Scuba for the Sunday Club Dive. After some discussion we decided to hit the Grain Terminal Jetty and were pleasantly surprised to find excellent conditions – calm, still ocean with only a light current, and the sun even came out for us so we had great light. At a maximum of 5m with 5-8m of Vis we had a great view of the life around the pylons with lots of toadies schooling around the brightly coloured soft coral, nudi’s and starfish. It was a really nice morning out and a dive enjoyable at any level of experience.
