Weber-Q churns out brekky before the dive

written by Sarah Toohey – Perth Scuba PADI Dive Master

It was a striking day down at Jervoise Bay. Perfect weather for a dive with another big group of social bubble-blowers joining us for our morning dive this Sunday.

After the new Webber-Q churned out brekkie we were pumped to try out our dive site. It looked stunning with glittering clear waters in the shallows and the rocky groin promising an underwater playground….

It felt like I was back diving in Darwin again – without all the war wrecks and Tractors to play with!

Still, divers powered on, close focus on the rocky undergrowth and protected rocky caves produced some great shots for budding photographers and some interesting views of life through this area.

Just because it isn’t 30 metres visibility doesn’t mean there is nothing to see! This close by current with all the food and sediment floating around will settle down soon, in the meantime get up close and take a look, you’d be surprised at what you will find.

Great to have people joining us fresh into their scuba diving journey and becoming a part of our regular little social gang!!

PS. This Wednesday 5 February we’ll be meeting at Palm Beach Jetty, Rockingham for a free night dive – on the hunt for prawns!
